Four things a club argues about, settled
Every camera, one feed
Members pull their cards and the photos land on their camera's pin. The club feed puts every member's cameras in one scroll, newest first, with the stand and who added it.
The stand board
"I'm in the creek stand" puts your initials on the pin for everybody. The board shows who is where and since when, so nobody walks in on a sit.
One property map
Share a hunt area with the club and every member sees the stands, cameras and logs inside it, with the author on each. Nothing leaves anyone's account.
Dues, without the chasing
Set the amount and the date once; every member is invoiced and reminded. They pay by card, you see a paid/unpaid list, and cheques get marked off in one tap.

Cameras by email
Cellular cameras can mail their photos straight in
- Turn on an email address for a camera and point the camera's photo delivery at it; nothing else to install
- Photos land on that camera's timeline and in the club feed, dated by the camera's own clock
- The same photo arriving twice is stored once, and anything that is not an image is dropped without a word
- Turn the address off and mail to it stops arriving; turn a new one on and the old address is dead
Who gets it
Emailing cameras are part of Scout and Hunter. Cameras on a shared area feed the club's camera scroll the same way a pulled card does, so the club sees a cellular camera's photos the night they are taken.

Collect the dues by card. We take no platform fee.
- Connect the club to Stripe once: the club's own bank details, not ours, and about five minutes
- Raise a dues bill -- "2027 dues, $850, due 1 March" -- and every member on the roster is invoiced and emailed
- Members pay by card from the app. The money goes to the club's account; HuntLease takes nothing from dues
- Reminders go out two weeks before, on the day, and a week after. You stop sending texts
- Half the club still writes cheques? Mark them paid offline with a note, and they drop off the reminder list
- A paid and unpaid list the treasurer can read at a glance, with what has come in against what was raised
What it costs the club
Whoever runs the club needs Hunter, $120 a year. Members join free and pay nothing to be in the club. Card processing is Stripe's own fee, paid to Stripe; we add nothing on top and take no cut of what your members pay you.

- A stand table ranks every stand by sightings per sit, across everyone who has hunted it
- Photos this season, by camera, so the club knows which one is actually earning its batteries
- It comes straight from the hunt log every member already keeps -- nobody fills out a form

Club season stats are part of Hunter. Every member's sits and harvests count toward the club's numbers the moment they log a hunt, and the tab works offline from what is already on the phone.

Straight answers
Questions treasurers ask
Does every member have to pay for a plan?
No. Starting a club and sharing your areas is part of Hunter; joining one is free, forever. One person buys a plan and the whole roster is in.
Where does the dues money go?
Into the club's own Stripe account, which the club sets up with its own bank details during a five-minute onboarding. It never sits with us, and we take no fee from it. Stripe charges its usual card processing rate, the same as it would if the club took cards any other way.
What about the members who pay by cheque?
Mark them paid offline with a note — cheque number, cash, bank transfer — and their invoice closes and their reminders stop. Most clubs run half and half for the first year, and the list has to cope with that or the treasurer keeps a spreadsheet beside it.
Can a member see another member's private ground?
No. Only the hunt areas you deliberately share with the club are visible, and only to its members. Leaving a club hides the club's records from you and yours from them; nothing is ever deleted from anyone's account.
Do refunds go through you?
No. The club refunds a member from its own Stripe dashboard, the same place it sees its payouts. The money was never ours to hand back.
Does it work with no signal?
The map, the stands, the board and your log do. Paying dues and loading new camera photos need a bar of service, which is what the drive home is for.
