Long-press to drop a stand, blind, camera, scrape, rub, bedding or food plot. Draw trails, boundaries and zones. Measure a shot lane in yards. Photos stay on the waypoint.
Take the map offline
Download the satellite and topo for a lease before you leave the house. Your waypoints and tracks are always on the phone; the map tiles are too once you save an area.

Straight answers
Questions hunters ask
Is it in the App Store?
No. It installs from your browser in two taps (here is how). That means no store fee baked into the price and updates land the moment we ship them. It also means two honest limits: it cannot record a track while your screen is off, and on iPhone it cannot read your compass unless you allow it when asked.
Does it show private parcel owners?
Not today. Parcel ownership data is licensed county by county and priced accordingly; we would rather sell you a map that works than a map that costs three times as much. If you want to hunt private ground, the leases on HuntLease come with the owner's name.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing. Waypoints, shapes, tracks and logs stay yours on the free plan, on the phone and on the server. Downloaded map areas are the one thing that stops working without Scout.
Which maps?
USGS imagery, USGS topo and the USGS hybrid of both, straight from The National Map, plus terrain for 3D and hillshade. Public domain, which is also why we are allowed to store them on your phone.
